In the Beginning
Bill Riley Meat was started in 1969 by none other than, The William (Bill) Riley and his wife, Doreen Riley. Modestly, Bill Riley Meat, started off as a butchery with it’s main focus on supplying ship’s crews and passengers docking in the Cape of Good hope who were in need of good quality meat.
Since then it has grown steadily, over three generations, entrenching itself as one of the most recognizable butcheries in Cape Town with its focus remaining on ships, restaurants and our loyal retail customers.
